Celebrate the vibrant festival of Onam with the South Adelaide Malayalee Community! Join us for an evening of cultural richness, traditional festivities, and community spirit. This year’s Onam celebration promises to be a spectacular event filled with the warmth and joy of our heritage.

Highlights of the Event:

• Traditional Onam Sadhya: Enjoy a lavish feast featuring an array of traditional Kerala dishes, including rice, sambar, avial, and payasam, all served on a banana leaf. This sumptuous meal is the centerpiece of our Onam celebrations.
• Cultural Performances: Experience the beauty of Kerala’s culture through a variety of performances, including traditional dance forms like Thiruvathira , and vibrant music that will get everyone tapping their feet.
• Community and Networking: Connect with fellow Malayalees and make new friends while celebrating one of our most cherished festivals. This is a great opportunity to strengthen community bonds and share in the festive joy.
• Dress Code: Traditional Kerala attire is encouraged to add to the festive ambiance. Men can wear mundu or dhoti, and women can opt for sarees or kasavu mundu.

SAMC ONAM 2025 – Event Terms & Conditions

* All guest and participants must require a valid ticket

* Children under 5 years of age are eligible for free ticket

* However, children under 5 will not be allocated a separate seat for food (sadhya). Parents must feed them from their own plate and seat.

* If a parent wishes for their under-5 child to have an individual seat and serving for sadhya, a paid child ticket (5–17 years) must be purchased.

* Only guests with a valid paid ticket will be issued a wristband for sadhya. Wristbands are mandatory to be seated and served.

* Seating for food is on a first-come, first-collected wristband basis

* Seating for programs is on a first-come basis

* Tickets can be scanned digitally on mobile devices, provided the screen is clear and undamaged.

* If mobile scanning fails, a printed copy of the ticket confirmation must be presented.

* All ticket sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations are permitted after purchase.

* In the event of cancellation or postponement, only the face value of the ticket will be refunded. Booking and transaction fees are non-refundable.

* Customers are responsible for checking the total payable amount before completing the ticket purchase.

* The Event Organizer reserves the right to remove any individual from the venue due to misconduct or disruptive behaviour. No refunds will be given in such cases.

* The Event Organizer and its agents are not liable for any injuries, damages, theft, or loss incurred at the event.

* Personal belongings are the responsibility of attendees. The organizer is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

* By attending the event, you consent to photography, videography, and use of your image in any media for promotional purposes, without compensation.

* Parents are kindly requested to supervise children at all times to ensure a smooth experience for all and to avoid disruption to performances.

* Terms and conditions are subject to change by the Event Organizer without prior notice.
